Alpha Lipoic Acid is the racemic RS-ALA, a racemic mixture of isomers of S-LA (S-Alpha Lipoic Acid) and R-LA (R-Alpha Lipoic Acid). Most ALA supplements contain 300mg of R-ALA and 300mg of S-ALA in a single capsule dosage.
